MICROBLADING/MICROSHADING
BEFORE AND AFTERCARE
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
PRE CARE GUIDELINES
Preparing for your appointment is just as important for well-healed results as post-care. Failure to follow pre-care may result in you being sent home the day of your appointment, so please read the following carefully! Coming prepared to your appointment means better-healed results and a better overall experience.
-
Keep the skin clean and free of dirt, oils, and grime.
-
Protect your skin by applying a good moisturizer.
-
Do not wax, tweeze, or thread your eyebrows, at least 2 weeks before your appointment. If you tint your brows, please do so at least 7 days prior.
-
Avoid ibuprofen, aspirin, caffeine, alcohol, and fish oil supplements at least two days before microblading.
-
Avoid any medication before the procedure, unless is prescribed by a doctor.
-
Don’t use Retin-A products in the brows area at least 2 weeks before the procedure.
-
BOTOX: If you regularly get Botox or Dysport, it must be done at least 14 days before your appointment. It takes at least that long to settle in the skin. Receiving it within 14 days of your appointment will result in being sent home and asked to reschedule.
-
Avoid any form of workout before the procedure. Exercising increases blood flow and will cause excessive bleeding, leading to poor healed results.
Pay attention to these guidelines to maximize the results of Microblading/Microshading (Always consult your physician if undergoing medical treatment)

Note: The use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to faster pigment fading.
Keep in mind that in many cases, some unevenness of color is expected. This is the main reason for the touch-up after 30 days. In some cases, women will have and higher difficulty in skin pigmentation. This varies greatly from one person to another and has nothing to do with the professional but with the reaction of your skin. In this case, it is a sign that your skin does not absorb the pigment properly. Your skin has a difficult pigmentation if your eyebrows begin to peel and the color is disappearing, in touch-up, we reinforce with more color. If an additional touch-up is necessary, there will be an additional cost.
